Created in 2021, this wine replaces the Brut type and was designed to enhance the minerality and freshness of the eastern part of Franciacorta.

Dedicated to the tireless ‘Canto delle Cicale’ (Song of the Cicadas) that echoes throughout the hills in summer, this Extra Brut is made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes (80-20%) and boasts a minimum ageing period of 24 months on its lees. The addition of Pinot Noir gives it character and structure.

It is a fragrant, savoury and mineral product: its distinctive fine perlage gives it a pleasant crispness that makes it a drinkable, clean but easy wine.

Characterised by fruity and citrus aromas, this elegant and refined wine is perfect both as an aperitif and throughout a meal.
